Sri Lanka recommendations

My trip to Sri Lanka, Pearl of the Indian Ocean

In this blog, I will write about my trip to Sri Lanka. I will put recommendations from best experience to good experience.

1. The Riu Hotel. The Riu Hotel is a Five-star hotel in Sri Lanka and is one of the best hotels I ever visited. It has three pools, and one of them includes water polo and water volleyball. What more, the water is also heated! The next best thing is the buffet. There, I got to choose food from bread to pizza to soup! Also, you can try Sri Lankan food as well as other food from around the globe! When I got to see my room, I was flabbergasted. I felt like I just took a trip to my best dreams. That is guaranteed to be on your bucket list.

2. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is a great place to see elephants. And because I went on the birthday of two twin elephants, I got to feed and pet them. They reached my list of best friends ever. However, you don't have to go on any birthday to wash the elephants in the river! That is the second-best activity to do there.

3. The Madu river boat ride. The Madu river boat ride is a great way to experience nature and water right in the Madu river. You can go through swamps flowing through a forest of Mangroos trees. There are a lot of islands scattered around the whole river! If you are lucky, you might spot a temple.

4. If you ever go to Sri Lanka, you have to go to Sigiriya. The naturally formed rock is about 349 meters tall. The cool part is that Sigiriya used to be a fortress. You can climb way up high.

Monkeys posing for a photo in Sigiriya.

I KNOW THAT YOU WON'T REGRET GOING TO THESE PLACES.
